Here is what we need!

• the contest is open to all elementary students (JK to Grade 8)
• drawing must be no bigger than 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches, landscape format
• the theme is… “What I love about my community!”
• remember - this is a calendar - so try to make your drawing seasonal
• please follow the chart below, however - any age is welcome to submit a drawing for the Calendar Cover
  
  • JK, SK & Grades 1, 2 - drawings about January, February or March
  • Grades 3 & 4 - drawings about April, May or June
  • Grades 5 & 6 - drawings about July, August or September
  • Grades 7 & 8 - drawings about October, November or December
• colour drawings are accepted, but they will be reproduced in the calendar in black and white and in a landscape format (sideways page)
• on the back of your drawing, please clearly print your name, school, grade, home mailing address, home phone number, picture title & month or season that your drawing is about

Here is what you get!

• if chosen, your drawing will be one of 13 to appear in the 2012 MP’s Community Calendar delivered to over 56,000 homes in the  Peterborough Riding and you will win a $25 gift certificate for Chapters.
• your drawing on our website at www.deandelmastro.ca
• all contestants will receive a personalized, signed commemorative certificate from MP Dean Del Mastro

All entries must be submitted before Friday, October 28, 2011.
